Importance of Making Connections
There rise to fame is very related to connections. They had a humble start and with connections they rose to being signed with Columbia Records but due to certain situations they split with them and made their own studio. I do not know what connections were made for this but making connections are important. I recently had someone in my internet communications class come and talk to us about her life after graduating and she talked about the importance about making connections. I feel that this is important to making any kind of career. I am sure that Switchfoot had to make some very important ones to get where they are today. They are now touring at least twice a year and typically make a new album ever other year. These alone take a ton of people working together to get everything put in place. I think the most important connections the band made was with each other. If these guys had not come together in the first place then there would not be a band today. Overall I think that when it comes to making connections that if you have none then you will not go anywhere and your talent will be wasted. I hope that you will take away from this blog that if connections are not made them probably nothing will happen with the information you have.
